Festival Celebrations
Festivals, feast days, and home-grown rituals for marking time together.
We celebrate festivals together: regional traditions and cultural observances we care about—Bihu, harvest seasons, solstices, and local rituals—alongside ones we create ourselves.
We honor interesting people and achievements: thinkers, makers, activists, and rebels who shaped fields we love, including Aaron Swartz, Grace Hopper, and Ambedkar, as well as local elders and community members who hold knowledge worth remembering before it disappears.
We also create our own small, weird, in-house rituals: feast days anchored to a person’s birthday, knowledge potlucks, zine nights, year-end chaos gatherings, ingredient celebrations tied to local harvests, and community recognition nights.
They are all excuses to mark time together and give it meaning.
